Let me start by saying, I was using my DHs card which always has issues because of the 30 coupon problem. I frequently get the error message, card not matched. Well this happened to me today, so the cashier called the manager and then the manager decides to call CVS to check it out. She comes back after about 5 to 10 minutes and tells me the reason that they can't take this ECB is because it was printed from the new ECB machines (you know the ones where you scan your card and it prints your ECB). She told me that CVS told her that I can only use that ECB at the store it was printed. I knew that wasn't the problem because I have used these at other stores with no problem. I then pointed out to her that the ones on her type of receipt paper were giving the same error also, so it has nothing to do with how they are printed. It was like talking to a brick wall, she just kept insisting this was the reason.

I then had them re-ring my entire order and used my card, and guess what I had one of those price reader type printed ECBs and the register took it. They didn't even want to try it. I had to call CVS customer care and force them to use it. I try to be nice and explain it, but when your talking to someone who obviously has no common sense its impossible. I am going to get a new card for my DHs account and see if I transfer my coupons over if it will help fix the problem?????
