Back in 2006 I posted this:

I know it's bad but I'm seriously bored. I want to make friends and recently thought I found a play/mom group that I could do that with but their kids are older and Kaylee is too young and I was ignored at the latest playdate. So now I'm back to square one.

Then a few months later I posted this followup:

I actually rejoined the group I was complaining about. Once Kaylee was diagnosed and on medication her whole attitude changed and she was doing more which made it easier to go to meetups and what not.

Want to know something funny, I now run that group. !!

Seriously enough I run the group now and I also started school online. I'm almost done with school, just one more term once I finish this term. But the group takes up a lot of time. We do things daily with them. Anyhow I was just reading some past posts and found it funny.

I'm so glad you found somthing to keep you busy! I'm going through the bordem thing myself right now. I started taking online classes, but I have been a sahm since we moved to the state we're in now and still haven't met any friends, so I get pretty lonley and bored. What are you going to school for? I'm thinking about teaching, but haven't made my mind up for sure yet.

Isn't it amazing the perspective you get with time after you have grown with the situation, and grown into new roles! I think this is wonderful.

I'm getting my ASIS in Early Childhood Development and Education. I'm going to be homeschooling so I wanted to do some courses to learn some stuff before starting.
