Default Really Comfortable Shoes

I have been suffering from work related foot pain for a few years. . .does anyone else have recommendations for comfortable shoes?
(my picks are Dansko and Mephisto).

Comfy shoes! I'll definitely have to check those out. I find that if I'm going to be walking a lot I either throw on my running shoes or wearing my Ariats (riding boots). Weird as it sounds, my ariats offer me great ankle support and that seems to minimize my leg and foot fatigue if I'm out on the move!
Many kind regards,

I'm a barefoot or flip-flops girl, myself... I'd wear sandals year-round if I could!

I just wrote an article about New Balance shoes. I've been wanting to go get sized for a pair ever since! They come in width sizes and offer really good arch support and they are said to have the latest technology in support and balance. I have not tried them yet, but I plan to next time I need some new shoes.

From a flat footed person with back issues, my picks are New Balance, Dansko, Birkenstock, and Naot. After 18 years of ballet, how I can be flat footed?)

I too could live in Sandals all year round. I love my open toes shoes.

Good luck!

Default Dressy shoe for problem feet

I have lupus, CREST, and a bone marrow condition, peripheral neuropathy with constantly achy, hurting feet. A lot of the time I feel like I am walking on marbles. So for the past 8 years I have lived in my black leather Cobbie Cuddlers with added Dr. Scholl's insoles. The problem is that I need on rare occasion to be able to wear a dress or skirt, and the Cobbie Cuddler's just don't go with that. I'm going to be going on a 2 week trip, wherein I will be having evening dinners out, and visits to churches all over Italy. It would be so nice to be able to look nice in my new little black (travel) dress, and at the same time be comfortable. My feet haven't felt comfortable in dress shoes for the past 30 years! This week, I spent 2 full days in shopping malls trying on shoes. I wanted something with a small but dressy heel. For me, historically the most comfortable dress shoes have an open toe and an adjustable sling back. You would not believe how many pairs I tried on. But finally I found them. They are the LifeStride Women's Jen Villa Fabri shoes. They were 10 times more comfortable than any other shoe I tried on in two full days of searching. Believe me, even the Easy Spirit shoes were extremely uncomfortable for me! You can see the Jen's at: http://www.shoes.com/stores/lifestri...n&as=1&x=0&y=0 . I think these will go equally well with slacks and with my little black dress. How smart and versatile! Anyone with hurting feet should try these. And by the way, just for the record, I have no association whatsoever with LifeStride or shoes.com.
