Default Recent Problem with Fiance's Daughter

Hello everyone, and thanks ahead of time for your input.

I have been living with my girlfriend now fiance and her daughter "Lisa" for seven years. My fiance is half african american half caucasian. I am caucasian and Lisa's biological father is african american. We are getting married next fall, 2010. Lisa and I have a good relationship. Her biological father is MIA and has been for five years. Lisa is 15 years old now and our family has had a great relationship until about a week ago.

Lisa wanted to go out with her friends but it was after her curfew on a school night, so her mother said no. They started arguing, which was out of the ordinary, and it started getting louder, so I came over to help out. Lisa got physical with both of us, which had never happened before. She "moved" us aside and went out anyway. We could not physically stop her (Lisa is 6'1 and a very large girl. My fiance is 5'2" and I am 5'7", both slender. She is stronger than my fiance and I together).

I contacted the school counselor and next week we are seeing a child psychologist. We talked to Lisa the next day but she refused to talk and physically threatened us again. She has agreed to see the child psychologist, which I see as a good sign. This came completely out of the blue and I am completely confused. I am also concerned for the safety of my fiance and me. I am seeing the child psychologist next week, but any thoughts in the meantime would be appreciated.

Thank you.
