even though he's not serving for the crimes he should be, it's almost like some sort of relief for the families. I hope he does get the full term, he does not deserve to be anywhere but a prison.

That judge seems to be a tough one. I hope he gets the max and rots behind bars.

He's getting up there in years, so life, really isn't that much longer. 15-20 yrs. or so I think would qualify. There was enough evidence to convict him for both crimes, the one 13 yrs. ago and this one, but he's only serving time for this one. And he should only serve the time that is allowable for that crime.
He and his lawyer are trying to make it sound like he didn't get found guilty for robbery, but for murder, because he didn't get convicted the first time. I disagree. I think everyone did their jobs this time.
And I hope the Goldman Family, and Nichole's family are able to liquify his funds and get their civil suit money they were supposed to a long time ago.

He is not THAT old. He's an athlete, and can live a very long life. He's 61. And prison is no place to age gracefully or comfortably. Guess he'll lose his golf game.
I don't exactly feel sorry for him not getting to go to his kids college graduations. I do feel sorry for them, though. After all, their mother can't attend either.
This should not be a payback situation. It is shady all around. He's had a history in the past thirteen years of violent confrontations and intimidating people. It's been minor until now. Yes, he was involved in a violent confrontation which is against the law, and you have to wonder WHAT WAS HE THINKING by associating with the thugs who accompanied him. But the confrontation was over some shady dealing in the first place, and it appears the victims set him up, recorded it, and are getting decent money for their ordeal.
I don't know what the sentencing guidelines are for this, but I really don't think he deserves the max for it. Nevertheless, he should do some time, so he seriously believes that he cannot just keep getting away with dangerously pushing people around.
Like it or not, he got acquitted of the murder of his wife. Public feeling about that or how likeable or unlikable he is should not be a factor in sentencing.

This news made my whole day! I am so happy! He has always been a pompous, arrogant THUG and he should have known better. When you get away with a double murder, you should try your darnedest to keep your nose clean. He deserves all the time they decide to give him behind bars. He's finally getting his date with Lady Justice, which is 13 years overdue, IMO.

Good thing it's over now. He was there where he really belongs.

No, this time in jail is not for the murder however, I am glad that he was convicted. He was slick last time and got ahead, but greed got him----I am glad JUSTICE finally found him. Sometimes, it just takes a little longer--
