Research Projects
Is anyone else's LO participating in research projects? We just signed up for Scarlet to participate in a couple of research projects at UC Berkeley. I'm really excited. I was a Human Development major at UC Davis and worked as an undergrad coding for an infant development project on campus. I enjoyed it and am excited about helping others in the research field.
I was just curious if anyone else is doing anything like this...

You can probably contact a local university and see if they have anything available. You might have to contact the Child Development or Psychology departments.

Binghamton University sent me something from their psychology department right after Conner was born, but I didn't feel like I had the time to commit to it. Between working 16 hours a week, having full time classes, and running the girls around to their band, sports, and drama events I really wanted to do it though.

Ooooh, I never thought of this. We live in a college town so I'll bet there is something. Then again, I live in Utah and people have 8+ kids, so maybe they're already filled up

It's very true though! Ok I may have exagerated a bit, but people out here have a lot of kids. Which is nice cause there are TONS of baby docs, and baby clothes stores, and daycares and such. When I went to visit my mom last Sept, the commented that I was the only pregnant girl she saw the whole time I was there (in NV). In utah you blink and see someone else pregnant. I think I see at least 4 every day at work, plus at least 25 kids!

Internet Survey
Hello,
My name is Amy and I am the mother of a four-year-old boy and a Master's student from the University of Manitoba in Canada. I am also a member of a university research team interested in how infants develop such milestones as walking, talking and even toilet training. A quick new web study has been posted about our research. If you want to learn more about your child, as well as how other children around the world develop, please come check us out at:

Please feel free to tell your friends!

The research people hound me for the twins but I don't have time unless they're willing to babysit the other 3 kids!
