Years ago I went to New York and got a recommendation for a Brazilian restaurant off the beaten path. I think it was called Evergreen, or something like that. It was incredible. Does anyone know the exact name and location of this restaurant?

Sorry, can't help you there, but that reminded me of a place my husband & I went to when we were in Norfolk, Virginia.....we actually drove to a place in Virginia Beach, called Chix.....oh my lord, if you are ever there, you must go. The atmosphere is nothing to brag about, atleast not the restaurant, but the food (fried shrimp, my favorite) & the view from the water is great. If you have a boat, you can simply pull right up in your boat & eat on the dock.....stare at the beautiful, expensive homes.....i loved it!!!!!

There's a place called evergreen on 47th, but I don't know that it's Brazilian.
