Our friend, loyal companion and old watchdog was put to sleep this past Thursday. We are trying to remember his life and the good times we had with him. I think this weekend we will try to create a picture collage and hang on our wall. It's not easy, even though we had known for at least a year that this time was coming.
It is very tough to put your pet to sleep! Knowing that he is no longer suffering, is a comfort.

So sorry! I have a 12 year old lab and am starting to prepare myself. Plus, I just watched Marley and Me the other day. I can't imagine how it is going to be.
