Default Road games

What type of road trip games do you play? I was aways a fan of the license plate game where you look for the whole alphabetin license plates. That and the punch buggy game, now that I drive a beetle that one has lost its luster...

We always liked going on a picnic. You start with the first person bring an item beginning with an A. The second repeats the items already brought then chooses the next item from the current alphabet letter i.e. it's my turn to select a g item so I say I'm going on a picnic and I'm going to bring an apple, banana, canteloupe, donut, egg, fillet, and a grouper. Good for teaching the alphabet and for memory. My sisters and I used to make it through the alphabet twice before quitting.

Ugh. Slugbug. My friend does that everytime we're out. It drives me nuts. I love her, but the slugging with the bugs? Not so much.

What in the world is slugbug? I assume you mean the punch biggy game I mentioned or is there another car game called slugbug?

We also did I spy. Where you see something green or a car and everyone guesses what it is. I didn't like it much but the kids like the rhyme "I spy with my little eye..." It's too easy to cheat.
