I have been running for about 2 years now, have done just one small 10km run and aiming to do my first half-marathon this year.
The annoying thing is that about a month ago, I slipped and landed on my knee (while running after my little boy Ethan, as fate would have it) and my attempted run on Tuesday didn't go as well as I had hoped.
I've read that knee injuries can take about 4-6 weeks to heal properly, and the knee is already a bit fragile from a bad fall I had when I was younger (and yes, I am on the accident prone side, hehe)... really hoping that I haven't done any further damage as I just can't imagine life without running!
My other fitness passion is Muaythai, which also uses the knee a lot and is high impact, which leaves me with my trusty exercise bike... just not the same though.
Hold thumbs that next week's attempt at a run goes better!!
