Default Sales Tax Holiday 4/27-4/29
DS brought home info from school. For 2007 ONLY.....Sales tax holiday. Covers Clothes, Computers, School Supplies. 4/27/07-4/29/07.

I just moved to TN. Do most people take advantage of this? Wonder why it only covers these few things? I'm not complainin....the tax down here is awful.

They had it once last year in August and are having it twice in 2007 in April and Aug. It is to help offset school expenses. This is why it is limited so limited to school related products.

That's what I thought. How bout a tax break on food?! My kids seem to eat everyday, lol!
