Default Sav-A-Center has changed their coupon policy

Their new circular says that they are tripling coupons up to $0.99. But, they have limited it to 6 coupon.

I read the small print on the back and it says that they reserve the right to limit the sale of any advertised item to 1 per shopping family. We all know what that means

Also, on a lot of stuff, they have 'MFR' listed. The small print says that means it's a manufacturer no clip coupon coupon sale. Does that mean they won't take a coupon on it?

But, from looking at the new circular, their prices seem to be cheaper. So, I guess they're abandoning the unlimited tripling, in favor of lower prices. Even the America's Choice stuff seems to be reasonably priced.

Default RE: Sav-A-Center has changed their coupon policy

That's kinda good and kinda bad. I love that they are tripling up to .99. We can always go in and out of the store and bring a shopping buddy. Is this a temporary thing? Does anyone know if this is state wide or only in Baton Rouge?

I think it's probably permanant because they were losing a lot on that unlimited tripling. But, on a good note, I looked at the online circulars for the other areas and they all have the same message about tripling 6 up to $0.99. So, everyone may get something good out of this.

Maybe, just maybe, they'll give the Baton Rouge area Super Doubles, sometimes, for a change.

I'm really torn on this. The good news is now we have the equivalent of super doubles every day. The bad news is that I will have to do multiple orders at the Uscan. My wife thinks I spend way too much time there already.

im reading what granosec wrote, it says :

"I read the small print on the back and it says that they reserve the right to limit the sale of any advertised item to 1 per shopping family. "

if it is one per family, how can you make multiple orders at the uscan using the savings card ?

is it triples every day up to 99 cents ?

I'm dying to see how they enforce that provision. If it is tied to the SAC card (which is the only feasible way), it is not a problem.

I got this from another board, it explains it more, if I am correct, then the tripling up to .50 REMAINS THE SAME. The coupons that are more than .50 but UP TO .99 tripling, ONLY SIX WILL BE ALLOWED.

I was thinking that only six coupons for the .50 also was included. Read this below, and lmk what yall think.

""Southern Louisiana People!! I just talked to a friend of mine who works at Sav-a-center (A&P) and tomorrow triple coupons are back for a whole week!!!! The deal is triple coupons up to 99 cents. There is a catch though.... You can have as many triples on up to 50 cents coupons, but anything from 51 - 99 cents will only be tripled on any 6 like coupons. Still not a bad deal!!!! Get those coupons together!!!! I'm so excited! It's Christmas time again for Momma HTH!!, "

Ok, I've been waiting for this (really wishing for a super double) but not very happy about the 6 limit.
I guess I know what I'll be doing tomorrow! - I live right by a store so I may do a test run to see about the 6 limit rule. I'll let ya know how it turns out.
MT, I'm sure you'll beat me to it (I don't get up that early! lol) Any feedback would be appreciated.

Actually, I'm dragging *** this morning. Let me know how it goes and if you have any problems. I'll probably hit them Friday. If you have any .55 off pasta WTs, now would be the time to abuse . . . I mean use them.

If you think of any other WTs that would be good to use now, please post.
