Talking Save 12% on GAS plus $25 statement Credit with Speedway Chase Credit Platinum Card!

Credit Card Application Form are available at Speedway/SuperAmerica gas Station.

Currently speedway offering 2$ off every $50 gift card purchase until June 30, 205.

Also, if you apply for Speedway Chase Credit Platinum Card you will get $25 statement credit (if you apply for card by July 31 and make purchase with it before November 30, 2005) you will get $25 statement credit.

Best part, you will get 8% introductory rebate (rebate can only be used for purchase at Speedway/SuperAmerican gas station, as I believe) for first 60 days.

So do th math:

You get the card before June 30 and buy gift card and you will get 8% (credit card rebate) + 4% (2$ off $50 gift card) = 12% saving off gas plus $25 statement credit!

I just called in to apply yesterday. Hopefully the card will get here before June 30 -

I did the same June last year when they have $2.00 off EVERY $25 promotion and I used it with the 5% citibank dividend rebate for gas station purchase for 13% saving but without $25 statement credit.

Also, you will get 6 months 0% Interest Rate on these purchase with the Speedway Credit Card so that is more saving.

Also, you can get points for free gas/food if you have Speedway Rewards Memebership. You can apply for the rewards card in store. Not sure if gift card purchases qualify for reward points for worth a try.

Here is the reward:

10¢ Per Gallon Discount 1,750 pts.
25¢ Per Gallon Discount 4,750
50¢ Per Gallon Discount 9,000
$1.00 Per Gallon Discount 16,000
FREE Gas Fill-Up 25,000

And you can redeem points for coffee/donuts/drinks... in store.

So unless you buy more than $2500 Gift Cards this time, the deal now is better.-

I bought $2000 gift card (20 $100 cards) last year and used all this May so time for me to reload.

Certainly for others it depends if worth it or not. For me and DW, I have a speedway on way to/from work and only 1 mile from house and gas price there is about average so good for me.

Update: These cards will never expire and there is NO monthly fee for nonuser after 12 months. I just called credit serivce phone # and confirmed that.

Just got $2000 Gift Card last weekend.

Still trying to decide if I need to get another $1000 before the current 4% off promotion ends June 30 this Thursday.

I applied for the card last Sunday and got it in mail on Thursday. Looks like they really want to get the cad and spend as soon as possible. -

I just love these personal accounting software so you can know if you can take these cash flow short-term hit and still make ends meet.-

Got another $500 GC yesterday, last day of the sale. Now I should be set up for 1.5 year gas at least. Hopefully gas price wil come down so it will last me 2 years. -

Also I do not need to budget cash outlay for gas next 1.5 years at least.

I should have applied another Card for DW too so we can double dip on the $25 statement credit thing.-
