Unhappy Immunizations-Side Effects/Pros & Cons

My son had severe vomiting after receiving his 4-month vaccinations, yet I found all the health care workers (his physician and the doctors at the hospital, where I had to take him...I was very worried as he was so little and had hardly anything in his tummy to begin with) very hesitant to agree that the shots could be the cause.

I feel certain they were. The vomiting began about 9 hours after the shots, and he was fine (though weak) the next day. He had no fever, and, most important, no one else in my household was sick. (We have a 4-year-old, too, and if one of us gets a stomach bug then we all get it.) Also, the baby was not in daycare, nor could he crawl about yet, getting all kinds of illnesses mouthing things.

I am thinking that immunization side are probably underreported if this sort of thing happens very often. I support vaccinations, but I feel parents should be informed and also that folks should admit it when it is likely that the shot caused a problem.

Has anyone else experienced something like this? Also, I'm wondering if anyone has chosen not to vaccinate their child and, if so, why.
