No, it's a very subtle scent. I find a lot of the candle scents sort of strong after awhile. This is one that you can use in your bedroom, etc. I love mine. I bought two and two more as gifts at Christmas. I would imagine that it would be a nice shower gift. That's why I'm looking for them. I try to stockpile nice shower gifts that don't cost a lot of money.

I noticed another store was out, but that the sale was supposed to last several weeks. I wondered about getting a rain check in hopes that they restock them.
