Default ~School days

Well it happened! My baby girl started school! And you know what I did ok ...I cried a little the night before, I admit it, but when the time came I was just overwhelmingly proud of her.
Her teacher let all the parents come in to hang out for a moment. They have a really cute classroom and not a whole lot of children, which is great! Her cousin is also in the same class with her so she was excited about that.
She looked up at me and asked "Mommy, I thought you weren't going to be here?" Like she wanted me to leave! I just had to laugh. She was so confident and it put my mind at east that she's gonna be ok.

Oh and I fogot to add on day #2 , she woke up sick! She missed her 2nd day of school
I know she wasn't feeling great this morning but she didn't want to miss and she didn't have a temp or anything. I was so sad for her yesterday!
Just hope she doesn't get sent home sick today.

Congrats on sending DD#1 off to kindergarten!

It is another milestone that you have achieved as a parent.

Having a 12th grader? You are as young as you feel.
And as long as you hide those gray hair (from the teenagers)
with Miss Clairol, who will be the wiser?
*giggles*

Awww...kindergarten is such a big step! I cried like a baby with my first 3, and I'm not looking forward to sending Conner on the bus at all.
