Default Advil Max Strength

There is a delay in the FDA approval for this product (saw signs in some Riteaid and CVS). There are signs that says you can substitute a 20 ct Advil LiquiGel and get $3.99 rebate. The cashier will price adjust it to $3.99 from $4.29.

Isn't it frowned upon, to use a coupon from a package that you haven't yet purchased? Or maybe this runs along the same line as peelies?

Thanks! I hadn't seen that, but it doesn't surprise me, as mine always seem to be the last to know everything.

I have cashier(s) scan product then I ask cashier(s) if it's ok to take coupon out of package and use coupon now and they always say it's ok even the store manager has allowed me to use coupon. If I wasn't buying the product right then then it would be wrong to take coupon in my opinion.

oh, I see now. I like that! I can see it going badly if I use the "wrong" cashier. I'll make sure I go when the nice ones are there.

I feel it's stealing to take peelies and hangtags off products I am not buying right then. My husband was a food buyer for major grocery store and whenever VIP found hangtags/peelies on products in store he would make the buyers call vendors to yell at vendors and threaten to fine them because VIP I saw coupons as costing company $$ if they doubled. Knowing VIP did not want hangtags/peelies on products I still can't take them...

I think the peelie is the property of the manufacturer, and it isn't stealing IMHO, it is simply saving them to use them later. I take a few whenever I find them, and I used them as I need them, and it works out. I have asked, and always been told it is fine. If you have a question, ask the store employees, the worst thing they can say is no, and if they say yes then you can take a few with a clear conscience! Peelies are usually some of the best coupons around!
