Hello! I have amassed several hundreds of pounds of scrapbook stuff that I probably won't use. I have collected it for about 8 years, and I have used a lot, but I just "switched" to digital scrapbooking, and I just keep looking at the 16 containers (18 gallons each) and wondering what to do with it... (stop laughing!! we just moved, and I haven't had the energy to re-organize it. ) I will keep the rubber stamps and other items that I can make cards with, but...what the heck do I do with the rest? I don't really want to just give it away, as it did cost me a lot of money...but selling it on ebay is such a hassle nowadays. Any ideas? My son starts kindergarten in the fall.

well, if you were in PA I would say drop it at my door

but here are some other ideas -
check with your local scrapbook stores and see if they have or know of anyone who has a scrapbook yardsale
Have a yard sale
some consignment shops may sell it for you
donate to local art center / church / daycare
donate to foster care agency (many make lifebooks with /for the children, children who my have no pictures of their lives before foster care, they work with them to make books to tell the story of their lives)
check yahoogroups for a 'cheap cycle' or 'freecycle' in your area that you can sell it or give it away.


btw - I enjoy digital scrapping too - some of my pages are on this site, but I just can't give up my paper
