Well, DH and I are searching for a leak this AM.

We have a one story home.
The washer & dryer are in the middle of the house in a closet.
They are behind louvered doors, just off the bedrooms.
I hope that makes sense.

Front foyer has a connecting hallway and that carpet is wet this AM, so is the carpet in the front hall closet. That closet is back to back w/ the washer dryer closet.

It isn't the roof or the bathrooms.

We just cleaned it out completely and DH seems to 'think' the washer has a leak. I have thrown 1/2 the stuff away. It was time.
Been using the wet-dry vac.
Now, I need to get the rest out of the hallway and put away.

We are putting in fans big time to dry things out.

that's awful! but i feel your pain, our washer or dishwasher seems to leak every 3 months or so.

We're having a leaking problem too in or town house. The air conditioner in our bedroom has apparently been leakin a lot worse than we thought because the paint on the cieling downstairs in the kitchen has started seriously pealing off. Someone finally came in to look at it, but it wasn't the egular maint man (he just had a root canal, poor guy!) and the person left a note that said "let me kow if the ac leaks"..

I think it's pretty obvious that the AC leaks..
