well, promising news for a change!

DH has a coworker who he and his wife had trouble conceiving, he was telling my DH about it at work last week and he said that a friend of theirs told them of a doctor in Baton Rouge (about an hour away), who is really good with tough cases. They went to her and the next cycle they were pregnant with #1. They are currently pregnant with #2 . anyway, this doctor does not accept new patients, but told the coworker that if they ever knew anybody that had trouble, that she would see them. well my DH then told the coworker all about our problems in the last (almost) 2 years. the coworker made a phone call and we now have an appointment on May 8th! i went to my current doctor today and got a copy of my chart, faxed it to the new doctor! i am so excited. i really like my current doctor, but i dont want to wait for a third miscarriage before seeing somebody else. my hopes are that this doctor can get me pregnant and through the first trimester and transfer care over to my current OBGYN. i feel like i can relax just a little bit because i know that we are being proactive, i didnt like not having a plan other than "wait to see what happens". just thought i would share, and of course, i will update you guys!

That's so exciting!!! You and DH have some very good friends it sounds like! I hope that the new doctor can help out. I understand not wanting to switch, but so many doctors say "oh, well.. wait for 3." and then it's agonizing and at least this way you are being proactive, like you said! GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!

thanks guys! it is going to be a loooong 3 weeks...i am so excited!! megan, maybe you are right...maybe the universe is starting to turn in our favor. it would be so wonderful....
