My wife and I are having trouble having sex. I have been using cialisis but its not proving as effective as previouly. We have had two early miscarriages (5-6 weeks) and my wife suffers from arthritsis and really should be on medication. We were thinking of using self insemination to speed it up? Has anyone tried this?

welcome to families! we did not do self insemination, but we did do IUI with clomid, from which we now have 5 week old twins!

also, there is a thread about "instead cups" which are usually used for a woman's period, but have been used for self insemination by some people on this site. they are also used by people TTC after intercourse to "scoop" the sperm closer to the cervix. i will keep looking for it to post the link for you.

Just thought I would report back in. Gave it two shots-the Self insemination with Needles. However, my wife didn't get pregnant but we also managed to try it normally. Its just sex is hit and miss for us. Just wondering if anyone is also presently trying it? (self Insemination) I would really love to hear from you.

I think try and try again. and Pray. It's better to use natural methods.
