Default Selling on eBay

Everyone made really good posts. It is important to build up a good reputation. I myself will not buy anything from someone who does not have good feedback. Selling on ebay is pretty easy and paypal is the best form of payment. It is faster and more secure. If you want to simplify things here are some pointers. Buy your own postal scale. You can purchase one cheaper on ebay than you can from the post office. I bought mine on ebay about 3 years ago and it still works great. Use paypal and print your own shipping labels from home. I also bought self adhesive labels on ebay. Order free shipping supplies on USPS.com for priority mail shipping. You can then request free carrier pickup. Do all these things and you can sell on ebay without ever leaving your home. It saves on gas money that's for sure. You weigh your items after you package them properly then you can put in the exact weight on the selling page and ebay will calculate the shipping. That way you don't over/under charge for shipping. I have learned a good bit by just jumping in and trying. I buy and sell on ebay. Look through and see what items seem to sell best. CD's and DVD's usually don't bring much unless they are hard to find, new releases or sold as wholesale lots. I have found that clothes & shoes sell pretty good. Hannah Montana and High School Musical items are REALLY popular right now. Cell phones sell good, too. If anyone would like to know more i am always glad to help.

Thanks for all the great tips! I have never sold anything on e-bay but would like to get started, and this gives me some ideas.
