I was on my Myspace account today when a friend sent this video to me. I dont live in a box so to speak so I know that SBS is out there but to see what it can do to a family just rips my heart apart! This story is about a couple who's baby sitter almost killed there child by shaking it. This story is not for those who cant handle it. I just thought I would share this with everyone b/c SBS is out there and as mothers all of us should be careful with who we trust with our children! After reading it how could I not pass this story on...read it and you will feel the same way! Thanks for allowing me to share!

I got the same one on my myspace account... It is so sad! I think the babysitter got let out of jail for like no $$ and hasn't been sentenced yet. It really wakes you up to who you let near your children.

that makes me REALLY mad. I would love to find that babysitter. I wonder if she has any kids or if they took them away since she is obviously a danger to children. If this woman was licensed did they take it away. I feel so sorry for this family their baby isnt even a year old. Im glad that I am going to be a SAHM

I guess the baby sitter was bonded out for only $5,000! They are pressing charges but this just happened this May so I guess things are going slow with a trial. I agree with you Kristin....this is the same reason I am going to be a SAHM until Nevy is 1yr. Then I hope to have my mom watch her! After reading that story there is NO way I could EVER let a stranger watch my baby! It's just so sad b/c they did all there research on her and spent all this time at her house checking her out. Oh and now the baby sitter is trying to say the baby was dropped of to her like that! This story just makes me sooooo mad!

A close friend of my brother had her baby murdered by a baby sitter. It's horrible! Stories like this are why I am a WAHM. I just don't trust anyone with my babies, especially since they can't tell me if they are being mistreated.

My DH is nice enough to allow me to be a SAHM until the baby is about a year old after that we are going to try and work our schedules out so that one of us can be with the baby or a very close friend of mine will be watching the baby for me.

I also read Kaleb's story on my space. I cannot believe that she (babysitter) is free to walk around. This is what the media should be focusing on not paris hilton jail sentence! This is a story that deserves national medial attention. I am appalled at what the babysitter did. i do not understand how someone can hurt an innocent baby! This makes me so mad. i hope that baby Kaleb continues to get better. His parents are so strong!
