What happened to my baby! She is on a hunger strike today and refusing to eat. I finally got her to eat some yogurt. So I started cleaning up the supper dishes. I turn around to see a yogurt covered Ellamae. Fine don’t eat, so I clean her up and let her out of her high chair. I am then trying to sweep up the kitchen. She has her hand over my dirt pile, “don’t” “don’t” “mommy DON’T” Yep, don’t is her favorite new word. She then throws my dirt pile across the floor.

Today all she wanted to be is destructive. She has to remove every book from her shelf, she has to take all her dishes out of the basket, she has to throw her flash cards all over, and spread diapers everywhere. She wants to climb on everything and every time I go to restrain her she says “don’t”.

She has this new fascination with the keyboard and climbing on the desk. And she likes to listen to music on the computer. So I have to lodge the chair under the desk to prevent her from doing it. So she lies under the desk between the chair legs crying. You ignore her and soon she is inching her way closer to you to make sure you can see her crying.

I want my sweet baby back!

izzy went through the no eating around ellamae's age. they'll eat when they're hungry. it won't be long! tomorrow she'll be eating everything in sight!

Although I can relate to the throwing and scattering of diapers, flashcards, plates, toy food, memory cards, dog food, dog toys, my clean laundry, Jessie's socks, Jessies diapers, important papers from the desk. We call her Tornado Tiff sometimes. Hehehe.
Ohhh and the crying......arghhhh.
She will probably be back to sweet again in no time.
She may be getting molars, or I teeth???? Or maybe fighting off a cold. Those two things can make the sweetest baby pesky.

Kenzie survives off of air some days. I keep reminding myself that she will NOT starve herself.
We had two MAJOR fits today. Ughh. One at the Air Force office(DH was inquiring about re-enlistment.. but in the reserves not active duty) and she threw my phone and it hit the corporal in the knee as she shrieked in displeasure.
the second was at the grocery store when she decided she did NOT want me to touch the cart and kept peeling my hands off the handle- and SCREAMING when I HAD to hold them.

Ohhh- loving toddlerhood.

oh isn't it just fun .. Gabby still has no eating days, and most days i have to hand feed her of she just will not eat (playing with food is more fun than eating food).. today we went out, and Gabby didn't want to stay in the pram (thanks Poppy... aka my dad) however she didn't want to be carried, i think she buggered Jose out with him chasing her
