Default Tiffany to chubby????

OK so I am also getting pretty worried about Tiffany.
She is so so so chubby, as you can tell from my siggy. And I wouldn't be too worried but she is obsessed with food. She was from day one. She nursed allllll the time as a newborn. And when she started solids there were only a few foods that she didn't like.
She had reflux and I have heard that that can sometimes make babies and toddlers eat more thatn normal...is that true??? (Jen??)
She has been a beast the last few days at the refridgerator begging and crying for food.
She eats all healthy food, but apparantly too much of it.
She eats breakfast and then a snack and then luch and then she wants a snack and then dinner and then before bed a half a nana (banana) But inbetween these food times she is fighting for more food. She will drag me to the fridge and cry.
What do I do????????? How can I break this obsession????????????
I don't want my poor Tiffany to struggle with weight.
I asked the pedi what I should do and his answer was.....well how much do you weigh, how much does grandma weigh? We'll check her thyroid when she gets older. That was it, no help, no hints no suggestions. I was so so so ticked off.
If we are out she barely asks for food....so I think it is more of a boredom thing.....but my gosh is it annoying.
She is 27 months old and weighs 39 pounds....and is average heighth. Not too big of a problem but I am afraid that it will be.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

sometimes with reflux they do eat more cos the weight on the stomach helps ease the pain, however after a little time the large amount of food makes you feel worst then before

is it worst since you had Jess? being bored could be the issue but i imagine it's going to be hard to entertain her all the time with a baby

my cousin use to eat all the time, and it was all healthy food, she was very tall but none the less she was very chunky too... now she still is very tall but she isn't overweight, she is quite broad but that just seems to be her build

Yes reflux babies over eat b/c the constant fluid helps the throat pain but that should not effect her with solids. They wont over eat solids just fluids.

I would say as long as she is eating healthy foods then she's fine

I think she's just fine. If she's having healthy snacks that's even better.
There could be a a hundred reasons for her desire to eat often. Ridley was practically in the same boat. He was short and heavy and eating all the time . . . . . . at home. He has evened out and still tells me he's hungry all the time and eats fruit every day after school. He gets snack at school as well as lunch.
Don't worry about her and enjoy her chubby cuteness while it lasts.

I won't worry too much hun since it is healthy she's eatting. But I've noticed the same thing with my DD the past couple of months... She mostly does it when she starts to get bored or when she wants attention when I'm taking care of the baby. Have you tried to give her water when she complains of being hungry? That seems to help out with me; she'll drink a glass then seems fine.
But if she's still active and everything I won't worry... I've had cousin who were chunky as little kids but thinned out when they started school.
