Sheboygan, WI Mother Shoots Her 8 yo w/ BB Gun for $1.00
What in the world is wrong with some people?
Read this story about the Sheboygan mother
who won a $1.00 bet for shooting her 8 yo DD
with a bb gun,
also hit her son in the process.
What are your thoughts?

It boggles my mind that parents even get that drunk around their young children. Apparently their morals got thrown out the window with their inhibitions after a few beers.
Everyone is so worried about parents smoking cigarettes around their kids, but what about drinking? DWI can be changed to PWI...parenting while intoxicated. Its just wrong.

yeah, that's what we have kids for. Target practice and cheap beer bets.
Sheesh, when you think of all the people on this forum who have buried children, who grieve for them, who cope with autism, childhood cancer, etc, and then you read that someone will shoot their child with a bb gun to please a boyfriend, and then sshhh, don't tell, kids - really she doesn't deserve to have children if they are so easy for her to destroy.

What the heck???
Why did they let her out on any kind of bond? She should not be allowed any where near those kids...or the boyfriend. I hope she gets the full 3 years in jail and either gets a ton of alcohol counseling or looses those kids. They deserve a better life than that.

I totally agree that it's crazy that parents get drunk with their kids around!!! I can't even bring myself to have a glass of wine at a restaurant if DD is with us! And PWI... Hilarious! Although something tells me that this woman's defense to that one would be that there was no parenting involved.
I'm embarrassed to admit I even grew up near Sheboygan.. I would love to just think that things like that don't happen in the area!
