Default shoes for fat feet?

Kal has such fat feet that no shoes fit him. I got him a pair of stride rites(6W) and they leave marks on the tops of his feet so i know they're too tight too. He can't wait to get them off either, so i don't think they're very comfy.
I was thinking of trying Robeez tredz, but don't want to spend the money on them if they won't fit either.

I don't put shoes on him unless we're outside playing or if we're out of the house running errands and such...its cold here now and i don't want his feet to get cold or hurt if i let him down.
I have tried the regular robeez too and the elastic is too tight and leaves big marks.

I spent about an hour at walmart trying on every darn shoe on him they had, half of them didn't even go on!

i am very frustrated with this!

please if anyone knows of any brands that are for fat feet let me know.
thanks

There's a website called www.pipsqueakers.com (I think that's it...) that has shoes for babies with wide feet. They're very inexpensive, too (compared to Stride Rites). If you google "shoes for babies with wide feet" or "shoes for babies with fat feet", you should be able to find something that you like.

My little nephew had such wide, chunky feet that his mom eventually gave up on traditional shoes and just got him several pairs of crocs. I know they are not real stylish, but they fit him and are comfy. You can get them in black or navy blue, you don't have to do the bright colors. And if you need something right away you can get them at a sporting goods store (like Dicks Sporting Goods) and you won't have to wait for them to be delivered.

have you tried buster brown? izzy has a pair from them (fabulous shoes btw, they're elastic instead of laces or velcro which izzy figured out in 2 seconds how to get off). they seem to be pretty wide

Caleb has fat little balls for feet as well I got him a pair of Stride Rite wides first and those were still tight, so we got some Extra Wides and those are great for him. I also had to get ones that I could open up really far to get his feet in them. Here's the ones we have: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000FIP2MS

I've also heard the New Balance makes XW's the work well for those babies blessed with little balls for feet

Poor T has fat feet too!!!!! She is like a size 6 but I had to by 7w at stride rite!!!!! They sold me a pair of 6xw when she was a 5 and they were too tight within a week or two!!!!!!!!!!!! She is a chunk!
Her favorite shoes are a pair of crocs that are too big. She has a pair of 6/7 and they are a little tight across the top, and otherwise too big.......so she prefers her pair that is 8/9!!!! Way too big.......but I don't blame her.
Good luck to you!

Aw, our poor fat footed babies!

My nephew is the opposite too, he needs super skiny shoes or he walks right out of them. Luckily I have bought so many pairs for Kalen that my nephew has a huge collection of hand me downs that kal has worn once for a few seconds! gggrrrr!!!!!
My sil prefers nikes for his skinny little feet, she said they seem to be the narrowest.

Does anyone know which stores sell new balance?

All of the major department stores (JC Penneys, Dillards, etc) sell new balance, or they also sell them at Foot Locker.
