Default Shopping for Groceries Online

Can anyone tell me if they've tried shopping for groceries online? I live in Tooele, Ut so I'm not sure what is available to me out here. I think Winder Farms and Schwann's is the only ones that will come this far, but I could be wrong. Anyway, I was just wondering about your experience. Are Winder Farm's products expensive? Lots of questions, I know. Just doing a little research.

We have done Schwann's off and on for years. Everything is delicious, convenient, and we've never been disappointed.
Love the ice cream cones too!

Only thing is that there is a higher price to pay for the convenience and home delivery.

Schnucks is another local grocery store for me here. Can order on-line and either choose a time to have the groceries place in your car
or delivered to the home. No coupons, and extra cost involved too.

Who else has used this type of service?

My boss (well, his wife) does it though Acme all the time. They love it. It is perfect for familes on the go.

Now, I personally like actually looking at what I'm going to buy before I purchase it. I'm picky with my meats, fruits & veggies and could not imagine someone else choosing them for me.

I received a coupon for $20 off if I try PeaPod. I looked it up and its $7.95 for delivery. I am just concerned about the produce. I tend to buy whats on sale plus what looks good. I am going to put my first order in next week. I will get back to you on that!
Let me know too!

Peapod just will start delivering to my adult niece's home starting tomorrow in Northern IL, USA.

That's about 3 hours away from me. One step closer in my direction!

I've done online grocery shopping a couple of times (usually when I have a coupon for free delivery!) and I really don't like it. I find that it takes longer out of the day to have to wait around for the delivery than it does to just nip to the shop for whatever I need.

I agree with the poster who said they prefer to pick products myself - I hate it when they deliver a bunch of things that are all use by two days time, and you know you won't be able to eat it all in time.

Default Good Experience with Winder

We have had a very good experience with Winder Farms. Their OJ and Apple Juice is amazing. Their Choc Milk is to die for. The regular milk is great too. I love most of their products. I would not have tried it without a great coupon I found at utahmilkman.com -- $45 in free groceries, free cooler and lots of coupons. Sure their stuff is more expensive, but I save trips to the store, save on oreos and doritos because I don't get as many and save a lot of time. Not for everyone. If you are a penny pincher you will go for the cheap milk rather than the good milk. If you like convenience and are willing to pay extra for top quality food, then you will love it.
