I don't see the proof or research to back this claim. Years ago they used mercury in vaccines to extend their shelf life. They quit doing this. I even asked my son's pediatrician. This was the element that they were worrying over with Austism and other disorders.
What vaccines are are tiny amounts of the bacteria/virus. The body then reacts to it and later when the full blown version of the illness enters the body, your immune system knows how to handle it.
It is the parents' choice whether or not to vaccinate. I choose to vaccine my child because after being a teacher for 7 years I've seen the worst side to not vaccinating. I had a student who had whooping cough 3 times during the school year. He nearly died after being rushed to the ER one night. This could have all been prevented! He missed so much school it was insane. I don't think I could allow my child to suffer from preventable diseases. I do have a friend who does not vaccinate her children. Granted she home schools them so exposing them to these diseases is slim, but she has had to take her kids to the ER because they got so sick.
Just my 2 cents. Now the Swine Flu vaccine to me is too new. I'm not sure if I want to give that one to my son yet. We'll see...
