I am new to families.com. I am looking for information out there.
Has anyone had difficulty with the show Naruto and their kids? I have a 12 year old daughter who is infatuated with the show. I thought it was just a phase that she would get through and I did not see the harm in the show since it was a cartoon that seems to be popular with many kids. Recently she approached my wife and I and told us she thinks ninjas are out to get her and that she has a demon inside her... wow
. This caught us totally by surprise since our daughter has never displayed any issues of this nature before and has always been a good kid. I did a quick check on Naruto and her story seems to parallel his. Naruto is a "good" ninja fighting against "bad" ninjas, however he has a demon locked away inside of him....
My wife feels we ought to ban the show from her, but I fear pulling it away from her will only create a rift between her and us. Anyone have any suggestions?
