My 2 year old attended our birth. She got to help daddy when he needed something, she rubbed my back like her father. The midwife even asked her to help with little things. We took the Bradley Method and now teach it. If she learns that birth is normal and not as wretched thing as it's protrayed on tv then it will be thought of as normal. My daughter was so giddy as the baby was born...no screaming, just a calm, happy time for all.
