Default Siblings at the birth

Lessly what you already told me helped a lot .
But I was wondering if anyone else had some helpful advice so here it goes......Katlyn will be very close to 10 when I have this baby. I am wondering if I should allow her in the room to watch. Is that too young? Since this is the last one, and she is older, I would like to involve her somehow.
she will be in 5th grade next year, and they start teaching the basic "stuff" and really get into it in 6th. I think if I can tell her about it, SAFELY, it would be a better role model. I like the ideal of taking her to the Bradley classes, and AABC said they have special books to help prepare a older child to see a birth. I guess I really need to talk to Mikey and see what his thoughts are, and really think long and hard.
Any suggestions?

Did anyone else have kids in the room with them at a birth? I have seen it on TLC most were young kids, this is a very scary age and I just don't know.
