I am a mother in law who lives in Ontario, Canada. My son and daugher in law live in Tampa and we are going to visit them in two weeks time. My daughter in law gets along very well with my husband and they have long conversations but she has little to say to me. I try to mind my own business and talk about things she likes and has interest in. I admire her in many ways and tell her as well. My son and I used to be very close but have a seem to have a void between us now. I am afraid to say anything about this to him or her. My husband sees what is going on but doesn't want to become involved. Meanwhile, I am becoming very unhappy and nervous about our visit to see my son and daughter in law. Dose anyone out there have this problem? I am becoming very depressed and feel like I don't belong to my own family anymore. Sincerely, from Maggie
