As if dating wasn't already so complicated! Add a child to the picture and its a whole new world of complicated...Not that I am currently dating, but I can't imagine being single the rest of my life. I just have a few questions for y'all. When being asked out on a date do you tell them right away you have a child or wait? What are the reasons behind waiting, and how long do you wait? I'm sure I'll be pretty upfront about it, or rather I'd want to be, but do I just blurt it out, or wait for them to ask?
How important is your child's approval? I see so many families where the kids don't like the new man/woman in their mom's/dad's life. Was this the result of the child feeling rejected because their opinion was never asked for? And how soon do you have the person you're dating meet your child and vice versa?
My dating life pre-child seemed like a piece of cake compared to what I have to look forward to now! But hey, at least I'll be more picky, right?

I welcome opinions and stories from everyone-single, married or divorced! I'd LOVE to hear a guy's point of view on this too!!!
