Do you think with the holiday this week,
either Canada Day
or
4th of July,
that this week is extra long?
Do you feel like you got an extra day off?
Another Saturday?
Or that with the added cooking, baking,
and other festivities, it was not a day off,
but extra work to a normally busy week?
I'm so glad tomorrow is Friday!
Don't think I could be at work two more days before the weekend!

Blessed w/ 2 sons: age 23 & 20 in college & my elderly father 87, our 'older kid.'
ugh...we're in the middle of remodeling, so I forgot all about the holidays I missed the area's best fireworks show one night...then the ones I remembered got canceled due to rain We bar-b-que'd at home, but we always do that!
As for the holiday, it just wasn't for me. Not with my brothers problems & trying to do up the house in the midst of it all.
