Default so Happy I am dancing!!

Ok so i shouldnt be THIS happy because both girls have fevers and have horrible coughs. Kaydee has an appointment at 10:45am with the dr, so she will be taken care of. She is still covered under her state insurance. I was worried, because Jaecy did not have her state insurance anymore once Kevin got his insurance through work. Since being laid off I didnt think she has coverage and I have been a worried wreck. I wanted to cry this morning with how sick she was and the fact that we have 0 money. Kevin's unemplyment is pendning until March 11th since he started school he has to do a whole new claim and stuff so its gonna be a LONG 3 weeks.

Anyway...i was talking to a mom the other day in the ER (when i had Kaydee there) and she said since Kaydee had the state insurance still, Jaecy should as well. So, I remembered and called the hotline this morning, plugged in her social and would you you believe it....SHES COVERED!!!!!! I had NO idea!!!!!!!

So hopefully the dr will have time to look at both girls this morning

Thank goodness! My sister also has problems with her children being covered under insurance, but so far there hasn't been any issues where they have needed medical care. I wish I knew how to solve that problem, I'm hoping our government will help us get permanent medical coverage for every man, woman, and especially child!

Back from the docs....Both girls have bad sore throats...and Kaydee has thrush from the steroids they had her on :/ I even asked the Dr. in the ER if there were any side affects I should look for. Both girls are on mild antibiotics (mainly because they are both running fevers) and Kaydee is on Nystatin again.

I called the insurance company this morning to find out how long Jaecy has been covered and it turns out that when I applied back in December for CHIP (our state insurance program for kids) they transferred both of them right over to the state since I make no money practically. So, both kids have insurance thank goodness
