Cell phone carriers?
I'm looking for opinions.... who is your cell phone provider and are you satisfied with them? We currently use Cingular/AT&T and I'm thinking about going to another carrier, not because they have wronged me, but their customer service people drive me crazy cause they can't answer even the most simple questions (for example, I'm trying to find out what the discount is offered by my parent company that owns us-which DOES offer a discount I just don't know what it is and asking my manager is futile because he doesn't know anything-- and they can't answer it. They told me to look online and you have to have an e-mail address from the company to even access that information..... ummm... at a grocery store we don't have e-mail addresses... our parent company does and we aren't issued one through them..... they can't even tell me what the discount is which makes me wonder if they are even educated in this sort of thing)
I'm curerntly deciding between Verizon and T-Mobile (I want an EnV or a Sidekick-- if anyone has these phones, how are they? I have a Razr right now and I could keep it and just import my number to whatever company I choose to go with, but the whole fun in deciding between carriers is picking a new phone ) but I'm open to any other suggestions.... got any girls?

I'm on my 3rd year with Verizon as a contract, and I had them for about 4 years prepaid before. I love them. Other people have not been so lucky (there are complaints about them) so I wonder if it's a regional thing? I ALWAYS get the help I need from them....and I'd recommend them to anyone.
I don't have any experience with the phones you mentioned. I chose the chocolate for this plan. I like it too.

Another Verizon user here. We have had them for about a year now and really like them. There is a Verizon store not too far from our house so we could actually go in and talk to a live person and see the products before we chose what we wanted.
Hubby had a problem with his phone a few months ago, went ina dn they fixed it right up.

One drawback to Verizon-you can't roll over your unused minutes. I almost switched to Cingular because of it...but I hate change and Verizon has been good in ALL other ways.

I have sprint but my dad pays the bill currently (I am a little bit spoiled) so I don't really know how they are.

We started with Trackfones,
then had a family plan at Verizon,
then moved to a family plan with Cingular and we'll stay there.
My employer also has a huge contract with Cingular,
so we get a discount there.
Slygirrl, if your manager cannot answer the questions about Cingular,
go through Human Resources at your place of employment.
