We had our doctor appointment yesterday. The results of the first SA was apparently not 0. It was not much better, but there were 2 sperm sighted and one of them was alive. The 2nd SA was a little better. 6 sighted, 2 motile. DH's testosterone level is a bit low but all rest of the labs were fine. So the doctor has put him on 25mg of Clomiphene for a minimum of 3-6 to try and raise it. He hopes by doing that, the sperm count will go up. Either way, the doctor says we really don't have much chance of getting pregnant on our own. DH also has maturation arrest. Our prognosis is most likely IVF with ICSI.

Right now we are both still trying to take this all in. We are very thankful that we still have a possiblity to have a biological child. The doctor wants to see another SA in about a month and have us come in for the results. In the meantime, the Dr. has also order genetic testing. We're just going to continue praying for a miracle.

wow, that is alot to take in. very good that you have a chance of biological children, but a hard way to get there....good luck to you!

as long as he takes the clomid at the same time every day it will most likely raise his count. It may not raise it high enough for you guys to make a baby the old fashion way but you will most likely be able to have one with IVF
