Default Social networking - you are what you post

Sometimes our cyberlives and our real lives mess with each other.

Take the case of this police officer - who arrested a guy, and the defense attorney used the stuff he posted on myspace to discredit him.

We like to think that when we are hanging out on myspace and facebook that we are relaxing with friends, buddies, etc. But the world can see us.

For this guy, the comments about how he was feeling, what he was watching, doing, offhand comments got him in trouble. The lawyer made him look like a complete idiot, because of jokes that he learned what he knew from tv and movies.

I think people should beaware that when they are on the computer they are vulnerable to people finding out things about them, if you don't want your life exposed then don't reveal too much about yourself.
