hello!! I'm mom to an 18 yr old college student who's an only child. He moved out of our home in June to move in with his Dad and stepmother who live an hour and a half away. It has been almost 6 months since he moved out and he has not been back home to visit one time. I'm heartbroken and have had talks with him about this. He says things like he's too busy with school and work or that we live too far away. Obviously, these reasons don't hold water for me. He has also told me that he won't be coming home on Christmas Day and that he'll see us at his grandparents home instead. Any input or opinions would be welcome as my husband and I are very distraught. Thanks in advance.
