So my story is this...and any insight would be extremely welcome...
My husband and I tried to get pregnant for the first time last month. Becuase we are new to this, we just picked the days I thought I was ovulating...which was during the week of Oct 8. The first day of my last period was Sept. 24. Yesterday I started getting very tender breasts and today I had some pinkish blood...not a lot. I think i am due for my period on or around Oct. 22. I usually get spotting before my period, but this looks diffrent...more pink, less brown...
So a couple of questions -
Could this be implantation bleeding and could I be pregnant?
And how soon can I test and any recommendations for tests?
Oh - I didn't think I would get pregnant right away, so I still had my 1 glass of red wine a few times a week...will this impact the health of my potential baby.
Anxious, excited, scared and wondering....
I agree with Lindsay i'd wait till af is due cause you could get a bfn and still be pregnant, also when trying to conceive it's best not to drink..but i had few drinks without knowing i was pregnant and my babies turn out ok but it's not a good idea.
it could be implantation bleeding which is a good thing! i am with the other ladies though, i would not test until AF was due or a day or two later. dont beat yourself up over the wine, just know that when TTC it is best to steer clear. (Although i must admit, after AF shows up, and i know FOR SURE it is AF, i will allow myself and indulgence (one drink)). Goodluck, i hope your TTC journey is short!
How long does AF usually last? If you like me it's around 5 to 6 days, although some people are lucky and have three day ".'s" GRRR!!!!! NE WAYS.... The whole week of the 8th would have been good but only a few certain days. Best way to explain and it was explained to me by my OB this way.... In your case, LMP was on September 24th.... you would start counting the days AFTER AF ended, at or around the 10th, 11th, and 12th days after AF end are your BEST days... Depending on how long your cycles regularly run is when you would expect AF.... In other words, I'd be testing around the 22nd If I were you... Now I could be wrong about all this but OB explained it this way and bff Heather did it this way and had a baby on Sept 21st of this year... let me know how it goes!!!!!
It could be. I know there are some test you are supposed to be able to take early but if not just wait until you normally would start and take a test then. Good luck.
