in emerg last nite, hooked up to IV due to this stupid gastro bug that is going around!!! Complicated even more so by the GD...sugars went quite low...couldn't keep anything down...not ginger ale, freezies, J-ello....nothing!!!! Went in around 4:30 and they didn't waste any time getting me hooked up with saline, gravol, and a blast of glucose or dextrose..whatever if was...They also hooked up Snugs to the non-stress test and he passed with flying colours..THANKFULLY!! Was sick once more in the hospital even after first bag of gravol..so they hung another..I had to keep down ginger ale which I drank in miniscule amounts that my DH would give me every 10 min before they would release me..so thankfully I was able to do that and they sent me home around 11:30 with the understanding I have to closely monitor my sugars and if I am unable to keep fluids down I have to go back up there..so far so good...not feeling 100% but feeling a whole lot better than yesterday that's for sure!!! I actually have an u/s later today which I am hoping I feel up to..was told to go if I could but I need to wear a mask...Okay ladies..that is my story...going to go and lay down now...TTFN

That is crappy news! Sorry to hear that you're feeling icky! I hope you're able to make it to your ultrasound appointment today! And what do you mean you would need to wear a mask?? I don't get it..

We did make the u/s appt...Snugs coorperated with whatever measurements or whatever she needed....Harder to see him though b/c he is running out of room...according to the tech he is 2790g which converts to just over 6 lbs!!! I had to wear a surgical mask just as a precaution so that I wasn't spreading germs around...they have them inside the door along with a hand washing station..anybody who has a cough, sneeze or whatever is advised to wear one...

Starting to feel a little more like myself tonite...still tired and low energy...but not feeling nauseous at the moment like I was this a.m. still....Hopefully will be back to myself, my tired, pregnant self..tomorrow...and that my appetite will be back...It has been hard making myself eat but I have to...for Snugs and my sugar levels....This will all be behind me soon enough...

Kara, it was great seeing Snugs but you sure can't see them like you can when they are smaller...he was moving around alot and we saw him "wave" and we think sucking his thumb...pretty soon we will be seeing him in person...approx 25 days!!!
