Exclamation Spotting (5 to 6 weeks along)

I am either 5 or 6 weeks along and since yesterday afternoon have had very light, come and go spotting. I remember spotting with my daughter, but I was farther along in the pregnancy. Is it normal this early or should I be worried? I don't have my first OB appointment until next Friday!

This happened to me during my last pg and I went to the doctor the next day. They did a sonogram and didn't see anything and all they said was that I'd either m/c or it was too early to see anything yet. I m/c'd two weeks later, but that is not to say it will happen to you. A lot of pregnancies people bleed throughout and if you are not cramping that is a good sign. Just to be sure, I would call your doctor and see what they recommend. Good luck to you and I'm sure everything is fine.

I spotted also, I called and the Dr. said to come in and do blood work to make sure my hcg numbers were going up. THe dr. said it could be implantation spotting. I spotted for the first 3 months It was nerve wtecking. I would call the Dr and let them know.

I spotted for a few days when I was about 7 weeks along, and then again when I was 11 weeks along. If you're worried, go get it checked out, but it's very normal.

I spotted at 7 weeks which freaked me out big time...we went to the a and e cause it was enough to be concerned about....had an ultrasound that day and turned out bubs and sak were fine and in right place...and thats how we learnt i had a bicornuate uterus too...
spotted at around 9 - 10 weeks lightly for a day x 2 in one week, but nothing more happened...
We are now 30 weeks!!!!

No spotting today. I took a third pregnancy test last night just to make sure (the first two I took at 2 days missed period and just got VERY faint positives). DARK BFP last night!! Since I'm not spotting today, I think I'm just going to wait until my scheduled appointment - unless something happens between now and then.
