I posted before that I had been spotting from 8w on. Finally at 10 weeks they diagnosed me with a vaginal infection and I took the meds at week 13. Well things were fine until this morning. (tmi sorry) I went to the bathroom and when I wiped I had pink discharge. I did not have it again until I came home at 4:00. It is only when I wipe. I called the ob but ended up talking to a medical asst. and asked if it was the infection coming back. The girl really wasnt too concerend because it wasn't blood. I asked her to please put in my chart that I want another culture done to test for another infection. (My appt is Thursday) She put me on hold and asked the ob and they said "don't worry about it we will see you thursday". How can they tell me not to worry! It stops my blood cold when I see the spotting. I feel like when I call they think I am crazy or paranoid! I also mentioned that I have had a lot of back pain today and she said "that happens". I am worried about the pink discharge because it makes me think that something is wrong! I guess I will wait till Thursday and talk to that ob. At least it will be a different ob than I talked to today. Do you think I am being paranoid? Sorry this is so long! We just finally told eveyone about the baby and I am so worried that something will be wrong!:

Not at all paranoid sweetie... anytime you have spotting during a pregnancy it's bound to scare the daylights out of you (I had it off and on all through the 1st tri). Just remember you have had an infection recently; the infection may be rebounding or your cervix may be irritated from everything you've been through the last few weeks. Keep a close eye on it and take it easy, and if you can, try to get in to see your OB sooner. You need to ease your mind at the very least. Thinking of you.

Thanks girls! I have been close to tears all night. : I feel so helpless about the whole situation. I have been having a lot of round ligament pain today in addition to the spotting and it has gotten me worried. I am now going to lay on the couch with DH and relax and go to bed very early! I'll let you know how everything goes on Thursday. I tried to get in earlier but the ob said I would be fine.

I had a lot of round ligament pain with this one as well... went in about it once, but my dr said it's all normal (normal shouldn't have to be so freakin' painful lol). If your OB felt there was cause for concern, they'd have you in to be checked right away. I know the spotting is enough to drive you up the wall but as long as it stays pinkish and doesn't get heavier or darker, you should be okay. Try not to stress too much (easier said than done I know lol), just make sure you rest and take it easy between now and Thursday -- and keep us posted!
