I posted a version of this story in Off-Topic forum, but I decided that the targeted audience would better be reached here!

Anyway, I went spray tanning for my own wedding last year, and I liked it, despite the streaks I got the first time I went. (Spray tanning is where you stand naked in a booth and it mists you with a tanning type of lotion stuff. It sets in about 4 hours later.) I wasn't pregnant at the time, so to cover up the streaks, the guy at the counter said to do the spray tan again, and then do regular tanning to set it in. It worked, and I did that a couple of times and that was that for my wedding. However, my brother is getting married next weekend so I went spray tanning again yesterday, and I got streaky AGAIN! This time it's on my arms and a little on my back, both of which will be visible in my bridesmaid dress.

Has anyone gone spray tanning before? How did you get rid of the streaks FAST if you got them?

I called my midwife this morning and told her my very vein story! I asked her about tanning during pregnancy, and I knew she would tell me that it's no good, and to steer away from it... But actually, she said that many women use the stand up beds (better for circulation, or something??) and only go for 5-6 minutes. I'm considering it, but it has the same connotation as drinking during pregnancy.. a big GASP if you do it, ya know? Personally, I'm not a big fan of tanning as it is, so it never crossed my mind to tan during pregnancy (except for the thread that I posted a while back, for anyone who read that one).

I am just wondering if anyone has ever gone tanning during pregnancy? I know that the only risk is over heating, so how long did you go for? And did you ever get too hot??
