I'm not, but for years I would lie and say I was. I just love St. Patty's Day, shamrocks, and clovers too much! I've got all kinds of this stuff around my house year-round. I even my bf while wearing a four-leaf clover shirt---in November!
DD is Irish though, so now I feel better about celebrating so much!

No I'm not Irish either but I think it is a wonderful tradition and I have many very good friends who celebrate it in a reasonably sober fashion, thankfully they are not big drinkers!. My one gripe though is that I do not agree with the amount of booze usually associated with it. I know sadly booze is associated with many celebrations ,but especially St Patricks day. The celebrations and reasons for the celebrations are great.Getting drunk, because 'it is a great excuse' is not!

Well done.I think its a myth that all Irish drink to excess.I am Scottish (Edinburgh) and us Scots get that reputation too.Its just not true!.....Celebrations like St Patricks day and certain celebration days for the Scots, can bring out the worst in some people though.I am sure you agree......Good luck with your pregnancy. You must be over the moon!
