Default Star Wars

I just rented the latest Star Wars. I've liked most of them. I especially liked The Empire Strikes Back in the original trilogy. I like the first one in the prequel series. The second was OK. What should I expect from the third?

A little darker than I and II. I thought it was the best one out of the new ones. It really completes the story.

I agree. I believe the last one was the absolute BEST of all six movies.
I was on the edge of my seat through the last half of the movie and cried my eyes out at the end. I thought it was just a magnificent piece of storytelling.

I liked it. I still like The Empire Strikes Back the best. This was, however, the best of the new trilogy. Great light sabre fights.

I guess what I liked best about it is that they really did Skywalker/Vader's story well. Even at the end, I was stunned and feeling that he'd really been victimized into selling his soul. Everything that he did with the intention of saving his family led him (literally) to the flames of Hell.

Drama, suspense, action, visual imagery...
It grabbed my by my guts and pulled me in!

ps: What was it about the Empire Strikes Back? My husband has honsetly admitted that it was the gold bikini for him.
