I am new to this site and I need a little help or a friend to talk to. I met my husband in July and soon after we met he finalized his divorce, moved out of their house and we got an apartment together. No one in my family agreed with me dating someone with three children and who was divorced so my entire family completely outed me. We got married in December of 2008 and we have the most amazing relationship ever! Everything is perfect except I have no friends anymore because they all want to party and drink and all that and I dont like doing those things. So since Im the "boring married girl" my friends wanted nothing to do with me either. So since then I have been a housewife with no friends and no one to talk to. My husbands ex wife is freakin crazy, she stopped paying for their house, she had opened like 20 or more credit cards in his name, maxed them out and then when she got custody of the kids she now gets over half of his paycheck every week. So now his credit is ruined and she is living the high life. I love his kids to death they are beautiful and we all get along great. He had a vasectomy while he was married to her and so now I want to have kids and we cant because of that. Yes we can get it reversed but with her getting over half his paycheck everyweek and we can barely make ends meet we dont have any leftover money. I have been trying to get a job but so far have had no luck. So its always a tough subject to talk about when kids come up because he knows I want children really badly but he cant give me any. I have no idea what to do I have no friends no one to talk to and I am just going crazy. Please Help!!!

There are lots of adjustments with marriage. What a shame that your single friends
are gone. Now is the perfect time to make new friends.

Volunteer at the library,
local grade school,
hospital,
church,
animal protective league,
or whatever sounds interesting to you.

Meet your neighbors. Bring them over some cupcakes.

Wishing that your family was more supportive of your husband & step-kids.
You could invite them over for a cook-out.
