I just need to vent about this real quick... When me and my sister first found out we were pregnant, my step mom said that she would throw my sister a shower if she was having a girl, but not for me, because my shower wasn't that long ago. ((Neither was her's, our boys are 11 months apart)) It bothered me then, but I got over it. My MIL said that she wanted to have a baby shower for me, seeing as she couldn't before because DS1 came early. She only invited her family and friends. My step mom ended up not planning anything for my sister, UNTIL she found out that I had a shower! I'm so annoyed right now! Now she is throwing my sister one 10 days before she is due, just because "Well, Nicole had a shower!"... argh! And, because I didn't invite them, she told DH ((he called her today)) to tell me about the shower, but didn't invite me! I swear, she has to one-up me with EVERYTHING!! When we moved into a bigger place, my step mom bought my sister a big screen TV! She does things like this ALL the time! It drives me crazy! I can never do anything good, because she has to make sure her daughter out does me! ARGH!!!
