There is re-search in canada stating that pre-term babies do this when cooled. They have no idea why but they tend to "recover" when their temperature is lowered. Truly remarkable!

Wow! I couldn't imagine the roller coaster ride. First feeling the grief of being told you lost your child, then the surprise and fright of realizing that it was alive, then again the grief of having to put your child in the NICU to fight for their life. I have a special place in my heart for preemies. I hope God sees fit to have this child live and be at home with thier momma.
